My name is Stephanie and I’m an illustrator, photographer, and occasional filmmaker from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
My illustration work in inspired by my local environment – expect lots of local flora and fauna, architectural landmarks, and Canadian landscapes! I’ve worked with amazing clients around Alberta on projects – including maps, greeting cards, postcards, and more – focusing on all the province has to offer (take a peek at my client list to see a few of the groups I’ve worked with!).
My photography work spans the gamut – I’ve documented weddings across North America; photographed families, couples, and clowns (true story!); and I’ve crossed the country to contribute to a multimedia documentary project about lobster fishing in Prince Edward Island.
As a filmmaker, my work is documentary in nature, focusing on environmental and social issues at a local level. In 2016, I wrote, produced and directed an award-winning documentary short This Is Not a Passport Photo. I’m working with a team of Edmonton filmmakers to put together a new documentary in 2019/2020 – stay tuned!
Have an idea for an illustration, photography or film project that you want to discuss? Get in touch – I’d love to hear from you!
